IVC Golf Opens Season at Kellogg
The IVC Golf team opened its season playing in the Peoria Notre Dame Invite at Kellogg golf course on Monday, August 13. Overall the team shot a respectable 335. Senior Hunter Mettille shot a 2-under par 70 to take 3rd place in the match. In her debut playing the men's tees, freshman, Elaine Grant shot an 84. In addition to Hunter and Elaine, Chase Jacobson shot an 88 and Adison Ackerman finished the day with a 93. The golfers are back in action on Thursday against Eureka at Arrowhead Country Club.
